Spot-Free Windows
for Lake County Homes

Central Florida is hard on glass. The water here carries iron and minerals, and between irrigation overspray and the sprinklers that keep lawns alive, windows pick up cloudy mineral spotting that a quick wipe never touches. Add the humid, high-sun climate and windows show pollen, grime, and haze faster than most homeowners expect, which is exactly why regular window cleaning is worth it on Lake County homes.
We clean windows inside and out. Outside, we reach every pane with a water-fed pole; inside, we work with a careful process built to protect your floors and furnishings while we get the glass clear. It is the kind of detailed, respectful clean that made window work part of what folks call us for at Fountain Exterior Cleaning.

The Window Types We Clean
We clean the common window types found across Lake County homes, and they all get the same careful core process no matter the style.

Double-Pane Windows
Double-pane windows are the most common style on Lake County homes. We clean them inside and out with the same core process, a water-fed pole on the exterior and a careful hand process indoors, so every pane comes out clear.
Single-Hung Windows
Single-hung windows get cleaned inside and out the same way. We work each sash so the glass is clear from top to bottom, not just the part that meets you at eye level.
Storm Windows
Storm windows take the same core process as any other unit. We clean the exposed glass and the storm layer both, so the whole window reads clear rather than leaving one hazy layer behind.

Why Lake County Trusts Us
With Their Windows
Here is what sets our window work apart, starting with the things that matter most when someone else is cleaning glass on your home.

Exterior Glass Cleaned From the Ground With a Water-Fed Pole
We clean the outside glass with a water-fed pole, which means we are not dragging heavy ladders and equipment across your home to reach the windows. That is less risk to your siding, screens, and landscaping, and a cleaner, even reach on every pane, top floor included.

A Careful, Respectful Clean Inside Your Home
Inside, we treat your home like it is one of our own. We put on cloth foot coverings so we never track dirt across your floors, and we use a two-microfiber method, one cloth for sills and messes and one clean cloth to lift any streak, so we leave no smudges behind.

We Tell You Up Front What Will and Won't Come Off Your Glass
Before we start, we tell you honestly which marks will clean up and which will not. Light hard-water spots usually come out, heavy years-old mineral buildup is a separate job, and exterior-only cleaning can still look hazy from inside. You know what you are getting before we touch a pane.

The Right Approach and Tools for Your Glass
We match the method to the glass instead of running one routine on everything. A gentle interior cleaning solution goes on inside, a water-fed pole handles the outside, and a zero-grade steel wool takes care of light mineral spots, so your windows are cleaned safely and thoroughly.

We Don't Disappear After the Job
In a trade where plenty of companies will not stand behind their work, we always do. A real person stays reachable before, during, and long after your window clean, so you are never left wondering who to call.

How Our
Window Cleaning Process Works
Your Free Estimate on the Phone
You call or reach out, and a real person calls you back fast. We quote residential window cleaning right on the phone, working out your window count and what you need, whether that is exterior only or inside and out, and whether there is any hard-water spotting showing. The estimate is free, with no obligation to book.
Scheduling and the Day-Of Heads-Up
We book the job for the day that works best for you. On the day of service, you get an on-the-way text so you know exactly when the crew is arriving, and you are never left guessing.
Exterior Window Cleaning
Outside, we clean all the exterior glass with a water-fed pole, working every pane clear from the ground up. Where there are light mineral spots on the glass, we address them as we go rather than leaving them for you to notice later.
Interior Window Cleaning
Inside, we put on cloth foot coverings so we never track dirt in, mix our interior cleaning solution, and clean with a two-microfiber method, one cloth for sills and messes and one clean cloth to remove any streak. The result is clear glass and no smudges left behind.
Walkthrough and Payment
You review the finished windows with the crew before anything is settled. Once you are happy with how they look, you pay the tech on the spot or online, and a review request follows after the invoice is paid. We do not consider the job done until you have looked it over and you are satisfied.

What Window Cleaning Costs
Window cleaning costs can vary from one home to the next, but the estimate itself stays simple. We give you a clear price upfront based on the scope of the job, so you know what to expect before we begin.
- About $7.50–$10 per window; most jobs start around a $200 minimum, with typical whole-home jobs up to roughly $600–$700. Interior and exterior are each priced, and the final number depends on how many windows you have, their height, and access. A whole home usually takes about an hour.
A couple of ways to get more value:
- When you add window cleaning to another service on the same visit, a house wash or a roof cleaning is the common pairing; there is a bundle discount. Ask about it when you get your estimate.
- Repeat and recurring residential customers earn a loyalty discount depending on the size of the job. It is our thanks for coming back, not a race to the bottom on price.
Heavy, years-old hard-water buildup is a separate add-on, priced separately and discussed at your estimate.

Hard-Water Stain Removal
Lake County’s mineral-heavy water and irrigation overspray are tough on glass, so hard-water spotting is one of the most common things homeowners ask us about. Light hard-water spots usually come right out; heavy, built-up mineral staining is a separate add-on, and we’ll tell you which one you’re looking at before we start. Light spotting typically clears during a standard clean using a zero-grade (0000) steel wool and a chemical made for it. Deep, years-old buildup that has etched in over time is its own job rather than part of a standard window clean, and we will walk you through exactly what it involves so there is no surprise.

Window Cleaning FAQs
If you only clean the outside, will my windows still look dirty from inside?
If we clean only the outside, the glass can still look hazy from inside; that’s the interior surface, and it’s why we recommend doing both. Cleaning only the exterior leaves the inside surface untouched, so smudges and film on the inner pane are still there when you look out. Doing inside and out together is the only way to get glass that reads clear from both sides.
Do you clean cracked or very old vintage windows?
No, we decline cracked or broken glass and very old vintage glass. Very old glass will not come out crystal clear no matter how carefully it is cleaned, and cracked or broken glass is not safe for the crew to work. If a window falls into either category, we will tell you honestly at the estimate rather than after the fact.
How long does it take to clean my windows?
Plan on roughly five minutes per window side, and about an hour for a whole home. The final time depends on how many windows you have, their height, and how easy they are to reach, which is why we confirm the count when we quote you.
Do you offer a rain guarantee on window cleaning?
No, because Florida weather is so sporadic, we do not put a rain guarantee on windows. What you do get is our word that the job is not finished until you have looked the glass over and you are happy with it, and if something is not right, we make it right.
